Privacy notice
This notice explains how Content Craftline uses personal information when you enquire, instruct a harbour study, or browse this site.
Data controller
The controller is Content Craftline, 71 Southend Avenue, Blackstone, BN5 8JN, United Kingdom. Email hello@content-craftline.click. Telephone 07788781919.
What we collect
From an enquiry: name, email address, harbour or terminal name, preferred visit window, the commission you selected, and the message you write. From a commission: contact details of the nominated clerk or harbour master, and such names as appear in logs you supply. We do not ask for payment card numbers on this site.
Why we hold it
We use enquiry details to reply and to prepare a fee letter. We use commission contacts to arrange on-quay days and to deliver charts. The legal bases are steps at your request before a contract, performance of the contract, and our legitimate interest in keeping a record of what was scoped. Where we use optional analytics cookies, the basis is consent. See the cookies page.
Retention
Unsuccessful enquiries are deleted after 18 months unless a conversation is still open. Engagement letters, invoices, and final briefings are kept for seven years for accounting and professional record. Names that appear only inside a movements book we were given are kept with that commission file and not used for other marketing.
Your rights
Under United Kingdom data protection law you may ask for a copy of your information, correction, erasure, restriction, or objection to legitimate-interest processing, and you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. To exercise rights, write to hello@content-craftline.click. We may need to confirm who you are before we act.
International transfers
We work from the United Kingdom. If an email or hosting provider stores a copy outside the UK, we rely on that provider’s written safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy regulation. We do not sell lists of harbour contacts.
Children
This site is intended for harbour staff and committees, not for children.
