Cookies
A cookie is a small file stored on your device. This site uses a small set. Rejecting optional cookies does not stop you reading studies, rates, or the journal, and does not block the enquiry form.
How we ask
On a first visit a banner offers Accept and Reject with equal weight. Your choice is stored in localStorage under the key contentCraftline_cookieConsent. You can clear it in your browser and see the banner again. Details of personal information sit in the privacy notice.
Types
Essential storage remembers the banner choice so we do not nag you. Analytics cookies, if you accept, help us see which pages about harbour studies are read. We do not use advertising cookies.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| contentCraftline_cookieConsent | Stores accept or reject so the banner stays hidden | Until you clear site data | Content Craftline (this site) |
| cc_analytics | Records that analytics may run after accept; no advertising profile | 6 months | Content Craftline |
| fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com | May set cookies or cache when loading Fraunces and Figtree | Set by Google; often up to 1 year for font files | Google Fonts |
Third-party cookies
Google Fonts is loaded from Google’s servers. Images of harbours and portraits are requested from Unsplash. Those parties may receive your IP address. They are not given your enquiry form contents.
How to manage or disable cookies
Use the banner to reject analytics. Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies for content-craftline.click. You can also browse with a setting that clears site data on close.
If you disable cookies
The site still works. You may see the banner on every visit if localStorage is blocked. Font fallbacks may appear if Google Fonts is blocked. Harbour study pages, rates, and the form remain available.
